UIO Language Logistics offers a variety of different interpreter training options, including internally developed UIO trainings, external trainings provided by our staffing clients, and external trainings provided by UIO under license, such as the Core Medical Interpreter Training (CMIT®) program.

UIO provides training for UIO associate interpreters, as well as for UIO Clients and their affiliates. (Affiliate organizations should contact their client organization to see if they have a discount code available to them.) UIO recently begun offering signup to the public for 80-hour online CMIT® courses as well.

UIO follows the OHA training policy by maintaining a maximum ratio of 15 students per instructor in all CMIT courses.

April 20th, 2026 to May 1st, 2026 (including OR Scholarship)

April 22nd, 2026 to May 6th, 2026

June 1st, 2026 to June 12th, 2026 (including OR Scholarship)
